I've been looking at this at Hobby Lobby for a month or so and just couldn't decide if I wanted it or not. The paint color was kind of strange but I finally made up my mind. It has a bird on it and I had to have it.
The pink and black were kind of strange colors to me.
A little bit of shiny black paint and it's a treasure to behold.

I absolutely LOVE it...I have not seen that at my HL and you know I am there at least 3 times a week...I know it IS an addiction! The black is perfect for it and now the decorative apples in the top really pop!! They look great!!! Pumpkins in the bottom?? I am going back today because I have found some small pumpkins I can't live without....OK maybe I could but I have to have more! They are really shimmery and they are wrapped in clear wrap in HL they look like they have bumps of crystals (like bumps of clear round pearls) all over them (hard to explain). They are really shimmery and pretty. I have a large apothocary jar I want to fill with them.
ReplyDeleteGood call on the black paint! Since it's a 25-mile drive to HL, I don't get to go much. The last time I went, my sweet 19-year-old son agreed to let me shop at HL for a bit after we took care of other business.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of birds, my little parakeet hen (single) has laid two eggs recently. I feel so sorry for her because she's dutifully incubating those tiny, infertile eggs. She has laid many eggs during the past few years. I save the tiny eggs after my parakeet tires of contorting her body over and around them. Every time I see your little bird nests, I tell myself to pick up some tiny nests at HL, so I can display those cute little eggs.
I actually gasped when I saw the final black product! It's beautiful! Would be wonderful with fall decorations in it.
