Birthday Gift to my son Rick...

 
Our son Rick's birthday was in January and I've been putting together some shadow boxes with things from the dairy my family had. 

The object to the left in the box is a fan that they gave away.  I couldn't get enough so I could show the picture of a sweet little girl that is on the back. 

 
I tried to add a little history so that Rick will know and his children will know where they came from.

 
This box has bottle caps from when we still bottled milk and I also added a container that was used later on.

 
I have to thank my brother Paul and my Aunt Margaret Belle who helped me with some of the history and also in acquiring the memorabilia.  I also found some of the bottle caps I bought on E-Bay.

Adding and puttering...

I've had these little blue disks from a shelf I bought.  There were supposed to be four but there were only three.  I pulled them off and figured I could use them somewhere sometime.

 
Then I found these fleur de lis.

 
I've painted them white and they are going to go on my cupboards where I took the door off.
