Cute Chalkboard Idea...

First, let me say thank you for all the many birthday wishes I received over the weekend.  It was a wonderful day and all of you made it very special.  I can't tell you how much these two years of blogging have meant to me.  I don't do a lot of traveling and don't go out a lot so you all are such a great lifeline for me.  I laugh with you, cry with you and treasure you all. 

 
I bought this little chalkboard last week but you could easily make one.  They had two kinds.  One just had a small picture frame type shape on top instead of the arrow.

 
I'll probably paint it red for the summer.  I thought it would be fun for parties, etc.

It Was A Wonderful Birthday!

Carson won two trophies at a Tai Kwon Do competition on Saturday.  He got a First Place for Breaking and a 2nd Place for kicking.  He was sweet to let Nicholas hold up one of the tropies.

The pizza party was a real hit!  The kids loved adding their toppings, Noelle's salad was delicious and Elizabeth and Chris brought a great chocolate on chocolate cake we had with French vanilla ice cream.
