Little Visitors and A Big Visit to Ikea

Chloe and Nicholas spent a couple of days with us this week.  There really wasn't much napping going on.

Mr. Bird Nest was on vacation this week.  We went to Charlotte on Thursday to visit the relatively new IKEA store there.  Mr. Bird Nest couldn't believe the bargains. 

We might actually get a new kitchen.  The best part would be that we could actually afford it and it would be pretty.

The Garden

 
This was our garden when I planted it on April 30.

This is the garden today, July 8.

I've given up counting the number of tomatoes, cucumbers and bell peppers we've enjoyed from our garden. 

Our grandson Carson said "It's just a miracle".  (Maybe he remembers Nana's garden from last year.  (LOL)
