THE NEW SHUTTERS ARE ON THE HOUSE...

018
Well here it is!!!!  The shutters really make a difference.

019
Mr. Bird Nest put them up on Saturday one of the most humid days of the year.  He's a sweetheart!

020
We still have to get all our soffit and gutters replaced.  Our son (the contractor) should have he and his helpers working on that soon.

021
No I still haven't painted my porch swing and rocking chair yet.  Nicholas and Chloe are coming over the next two days and I'm going to see if they will help me prime them.

023
We got a new light fixture for the front porch and it comes on automatically if someone starts up the steps.  We've ordered two more for the sides of the garage door.

025
Even my bunny garden looks cuter.

Mr. Bird Nest on the last shutter.  Gosh am I lucky to have him.

Update Your Garage Door for about $60.00...

With all the changes to the outside of the house, I wanted to get a new garage door, that looked like carriage door.  Apparently, our door is over-sized and would cost a minimum of $3000.  Mr. Bird Nest said that just wasn't happening.  How dare he rain on my parade!

He had a smart alternative in our price range.

This is the solution.  He found this set of hinges on E-Bay for $60.00.

One of our neighbors told Mr. Bird Nest, "Dang, what did you do rob a bank?"  He thought we bought a new garage door.
