Wood Ducks and Draperies Rehung...

 

Rick and Nicholas were up at 5:00 a.m. this morning and out in the woods hunting.  I wouldn't even get up that early for a free giveaway at Home Goods.  OK, I might.  Nicholas got 3 wood ducks all by himself.

 

I'm glad Mr. Bird Nest doesn't hunt any more.  I can get more done around the house.

 

These curtains in the Master Bedroom were up above the baseboard.  I don't know what I was thinking when the mister put them up but it has been rectified.  Sylvia, this is for you.  She told me they were too short and I knew it, but I have to pick and choose how many jobs I can get Mr. Bird Nest to do.

Fabric change on the banquette...

 

 In case you've forgotten, this is the banquette that Rick built for me.

 

 This is a picture when I was sanding.  I can't expect a real craftsman to sand, prime and paint.

 

 Then I did the painting.

 

Isn't it looking great?

 

Time for a change.  Call me crazy but I had to do it.

This was the roll of fabric I bought on sale last fall for 2.99 a yard.

 

Finished with the new pillow.

 

I like the feel and texture of this fabric much better.  Don't you?
