One day before school started, Lauren came to spend part of the day together.

Pottery
I found these two pieces of Pottery at T.J. Maxx. The little plate was 2.99 and the larger one 3.99. They just brighten up my shelf and make me smile.
I got this bowl at T.J. Maxx too for 10.00. I just loved all the colors and I found out when I got home the dots on the dish matched my candle sticks.
I had this on the center of my table and Nicholas (he's 9) said, "Hey Papa, look at the pretty bowl Nana bought today". I had to explain that we don't always tell Papa about the things we buy.

Chloe Visits...
I made Chloe little gingerbread sandwiches, like I used to make for her Daddy.
The sandwiches were a huge hit.

Adorable Pictures...
Our daughter-in-law Elizabeth recently took Lauren (K-4) and Carson (2nd grade) to have some photos taken. Elizabeth knew it was going to be hard to control the kids when the photographer said instead of "cheese", say "booger nose".
I think the pictures are just precious.
