Decorating Your Outside Table...

Recently, I went to lunch at a store in Greenville that also has a restaurant (more of a tearoom) called Twigs.  We had lunch and then saw displays about how to create a summer table. Dumb me forgot her camera.  I bought a few things but tried to copy the rest at a discount.

They had very tall slim crystal containers that were at least $120. each.  You notice you don't see any on my table.  I went to Michaels to get containers and used candle sticks I already had.

What I did buy were the little cups with the crystals hanging from them.  You could put a candle in them but I used little birds like they did.  I also bought 3 tiny lights on batteries to put inside the vases with the crystals that came from Hobby Lobby.  Since I took these photos during the day, you can't see the lights.

What I liked about this table centerpiece was that you can see through it. Unlike flowers, it gives you the opportunity to see who is across from you.  I also got a teeny tiny string of lights that operates on a battery that you can wrap around the container.  Again, it was daylight, so I didn't use them.

I think they are sort of pretty and I love anything that has a "Bird Nest".  I'm sure you could find something very similar.

Hope you enjoy this idea.
