Nicholas the Entrepreneur...
Not too long ago, Nicholas bought a paracord bracelet for $7.00 on E-Bay. After he got it, he watched a video on U-Tube on how to make them. He gave his Mommy $60.00 to buy him some supplies on-line. There is a good reason why he made A-B Honor Roll for the entire school year. Here's where the Entrepreneurship comes in.
He has sold six already for $5.00 each and has orders for more.
I've watched him and I still don't know how he makes these.
These are some of the colors he bought to make bracelets. I think I still need a pink and black one.
These are ones he has already completed. Mr. Bird Nest and I each bought one, although he was going to give them to us. Business is business and we thought he should be paid.
Nicholas and Chloe relaxing last night before Mr. Bird Nest took us out to dinner.
This morning Chloe and I got up early to go to a nearby flea market. We had a mission and we accomplished it. We bought two cup and saucer sets. On the way home we stopped to buy more bird seed.
Nicholas put the cup and saucers together with Loctite Super Glue, that Mr. Bird Nest bought.
He glued a copper fitting to the cup (that Mr. Bird Nest had) and then he used copper pipe for the pole. The cup Chloe is holding is the one they are taking home to their Mommy. The blue and white one is mine. I got the directions for this project from Yvonne at Stone Gable blog.

Well done, all!
ReplyDeleteSuch a happy post!!
Such cuties! You sure have a very smart grandson. He will do well in life! I too have cup and saucer feeders that my hubby made a few years ago. Matter of fact we just had to "recycle" so to speak one yesterday. I am sure it will show up in a post soon! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteGretchen- What a smart little guy you have there- Guess he takes right after his grandparents, huh? I love those bracelets...they are a tad different than the ones I have seen the kids making. Amazing that he is so ambitious. Your grands are both just adorable. What a pretty little girl Chloe is! I love those cup and saucer bird feeders. Aren't they cute! Have a fun weekend- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteWell, he'll grow up and be very successful! I love those cup and saucers. I need to go over and learn how to make them.

Isn't he cute? and he's already making money. Those bracelets are cute and I know the kids are loving them. Good for him! Both of your grandchildren are adorable.
