I love the summer months because I can decorate outside for Memorial Day and I don't have to change anything until after Labor Day.
My daughter-in-law Noelle got me this wreath and I love it hanging on the front door, along with my flag on the pineapple.
I always put flags in the pots of geraniums at the front door.
These were planted early this year. I bought a hanging basket with three geraniums in it and used that for my two urns. It is much cheaper that way.
I wanted some other decoration for my milk-crate table on the front porch and I came up with this idea.
I've had this little topiary for many years and last summer I painted it red.
I had lots of little flags and wired them to the topiary.
It took me a little while to figure out a pattern that I liked but I was happy with my finished table accent.
Are you ready for July 4th?
Gretchen
I'm gettin' there! Love what you've done with your topiary. I'd like to find a flag holder like your pineapple.
