A Giveaway...

This was my Zinnia garden last summer.  Anyone who e-mails me or leaves a message on my blog with their name and address will receive seeds from my Burpee Zinna's I had last year in my garden.  These were Cut & Come Again Zinnia's and they were this beautiful all summer long.  These will be the seeds that I collected at the end of the season.

If you are interested, this will only be for this weekend as long as my seeds last.

This is my way of thanking anyone who reads my blog.  You are the best!

Enjoy!

The Beauty That Is Spring...

The Confederate Jasmine on the arbor is blooming like crazy.

Spring is certainly a welcome site at our house.

Even the butterfly Bushes have new growth.

The daylilies beside the pool are peeking up through the ground.  We are going to open the pool in two weeks since the weather is getting so warm.

Even though I cut them back last year the Forsythia is blooming too.

The Candytuft is blooming at the base of a majestic maple.

The camelias are just finishing their blooming.

Even the blooms that have fallen to the ground look beautiful.

Enjoy!

I Love Etsy...

I was heading out to the garage and then outdoors to take some pictures when, I looked on the landing and our Mail Lady had dropped off a package.

In the package was this adorable wooden recipe box that I had purchased from www.KelleysPaperCrafts.etsy.com.

This is a large 4 x 6 card box.  I need it to hold all my recipes.

I also ordered these formica 4 x 6 recipe dividers.  Kelly included the cute cupcake recipe cards.  Don't you love it?

Enjoy!

Easter Banner

Yesterday, I stopped at Target on my way home from lunch with some women from First Presbyterian Church.  I found this cute egg banner for just $3.99.

There is no way I could have bought felt and ribbon and made this for the price I paid.  I'm all for handmade but sometimes you have to be practical.

Our grandchildren are going to love this and it will be perfect to set the mood for our (after church and dinner) Easter Egg Hunt in our backyard.  The grandchildren are already getting excited about it.

Enjoy!

A Tiny Bit Of Easter Everywhere

Mr. & Mrs. Rabbit is my favorite Easter Decoration.

These porcelain eggs are also a great addition.

Isn't this little egg cup adorable and in it I've placed a hand-painted egg?

The grandchildren love the bunny on the left and enjoy moving the carrots around in it.  The little bunny pail is one that my Mama collected.

This is my egg tree along with a pitcher given to me by Dawn at The Gahan Girls

Here are my wooden eggs on the center of the table.

This little hen and chicks belonged to my Mama too.  I always display them during Easter.

Enjoy!

A Fun Update To The Bathroom

This is what our Master Bedroom vanity looked like before.  It seemed like it was always cluttered and I had to remove everything before I could clean.
I found this great wire rack at Sturbridge Yankee Workshop.  I got this one and one that is even larger.  In the future I'll be showing you what I did with the other one.
Hud was at work when I put this up.  I was extremely surprised that when he got home he said, "I love that basket in the bathroom".  Sometimes he really surprises me.

Olde American Mercantile Bowls

I ordered these bowls from Old American Mercantile on Etsy and was very pleased with what I received.

I love the colors of both bowls too.

I love this bowl on the table with these wooden eggs.  I got them on sale in the fall from Sturbridge Yankee Workshop.  You really can display them any time of year.

The large bowl is the perfect place to put my birthday cards.
