Last week, I bought fabric to make a new curtain for the kitchen. It’s the red fabric on my sewing machine and I really will make it this weekend.
This is my sewing area in our guest room and although it’s not a big space, the room does have a large closet. My husband has outfitted it with lots of shelving to hold all my fabric and there is even room for my dress form to be hidden away.
Am I the only one who gets an urge to buy fabric and then waits for days or months (okay…maybe years) to decide what to use it for?
My husband asked me last night if I would mind if he went fishing on Saturday. Mind? Duh! Yippee! I tried not to jump for joy knowing now I can go to the flea market and garage sales and not need to rush.
We usually follow a very steady routine on Saturdays and it almost always involves a trip to Lowe’s or Home Depot. Not that I mind going to either of these places but they don’t compare to shopping for the really important things I need and bargains.
