Our screened porch is finally cleaned and decorated for the Summer.
The entrance to our porch is a cedar screen door built by our son Rick. We love it!
Between the two chairs on the right is a checkerboard that I painted on an unfinished round of wood bought at Home Depot. Our grandchildren love playing checkers after an afternoon at the pool.
A friend gave me these gorgeous pillows for my birthday in March. They are the perfect compliment to the sofa.
As on the front porch, I decorate mostly in red, white and blue.
Mr. Bird Nest hasn’t given up his TV in the garage to go on this wall bracket….yet.
This is the table Rick built for me for the screened porch. If you are a “Fixer Upper” watcher, you’ll love the distressing I did. Hopefully, Joanna Gaines would be proud of my effort.
I saw a table like this on the cover of Country Living Magazine a few years ago and Rick built this table just like it. Actually, I think my table is nicer than that one was.
Don’t you love the distressing I did with a palm sander.
Welcome to the South!
