Finally, the kitchen is completed down to the pot filler.
We love the Quartz countertops. They are simple to take care of and look great.
We can’t wait to begin cooking in this wonderful space. I’ll be making Christmas cookies today and tomorrow.

Mr. Bird Nest designed and built the hood for the stove.
We already had all stainless steel appliances and that kept our costs down.
The total cost of our new kitchen was $7,400.00. Keep in mind my husband was able to do all the plumbing and electrical himself.
The soft close drawers are a quiet and you can’t slam them.
Everything will look a lot less cluttered after the holiday decorations are gone in January.

I even took time to refinish the bottom of my farm table. I used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Coco with dark wax. It really shows off the beautiful walnut top on the table my son Rick built for me.
